About Income Atlas
Better information for a changing economy.
Income Atlas researches careers, industries, and economic shifts to help people better understand where opportunity is moving.
Our mission
Help people find work worth building a life around.
The way people build careers is changing. Technology is reshaping some jobs, labor shortages are creating opportunity in others, and the traditional paths to economic mobility do not always look the way they used to.
Income Atlas exists to make those changes easier to understand. We research compensation, training requirements, job demand, technology exposure, and the tradeoffs behind different career paths.
The goal is simple: surface opportunities that are worth knowing about and explain them clearly.
What we cover
Careers
Deep dives into compensation, training, demand, AI exposure, and the real tradeoffs behind specific occupations.
Work & technology
Analysis of how AI, automation, and new technologies are changing jobs, hiring, productivity, and career paths.
Economic opportunity
The industries, labor shortages, wage trends, and structural shifts creating new opportunities for workers.
How we research
Data first. Context second.
Income Atlas career profiles are built from publicly available labor data, industry research, job postings, compensation data, educational requirements, and other primary and secondary sources.
We use that information to evaluate not only what a career pays today, but also how difficult it is to enter, where demand may be heading, and how durable the work may be as technology changes.
Sources and methodology are included where appropriate so readers can evaluate the underlying information for themselves.
What Income Atlas is not
Research, not a promise.
Income Atlas is an informational publication. Career outcomes, compensation, hiring demand, and training requirements can vary significantly by location, employer, experience, and economic conditions.
Our research is intended to help readers ask better questions and discover opportunities they may not have considered. It is not personalized career, financial, legal, or educational advice.
